SGT. FURY AND HIS HOWLING COMMANDOS (1963) #48 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos #48
The block-bustin' Blitz Squad is back! For every hero, there's a villain and it's said, that every one has their double somewhere else on the globe. No one knows that better than Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos who once again encounter the iron-handed Col. Klaus and his Blitz Squad of hand-picked Nazi assassins. Where Fury has Corporal Dum Dum Dugan, Klaus has Sigfried, the strongman. Gabriel Jones' horn can be matched by Otto's pipes. Mechanical expert Izzy Cohen faces Ludwig. Dino Manelli's movie star good looks get a run for their money from Fritz. Rebel Ralston's frontier skills are pitted against Ernst, the horseman. And Percival Pinkerton's British pluck is countered by Manfred who wields a stylish but deadly walking stick.

At a forward base in Great Britain, the two forces clash once more as the Blitz Squad cuts a bloody swathe of sabotage across the Allied forces' front. But when Klaus captures Capt. Sam Sawyer, Fury must call on Bull McGiveney and his Maulers and Jim Morita and his Nisei Squadron for help. And with German defector Eric Koenig in the air raising the alarm, Klaus and his rats don't stand a chance! "If Britain Should Fall ..." is written by Gary Friedrich and drawn by Dick Ayers and John Severin! Wahoo!
