SEVEN SOLDIERS: GUARDIAN (MANHATTAN GUARDIAN) (2005) #3 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Seven Soldiers: Guardian (2005) #3
"Siege at Century Hollow" is written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Cameron Stewart. 1st appearance of the Newsboy Army. Imagine the world in microcosm; summarized down to an area approximately the size of a theme park. But instead of the persistent happiness that pervades Disney's Epcot Center with its international flavor, this is our planet with all of its bumps and warts intact, including poverty, greed and war. That's Century Hollow, the newest experimental science park located on Ellis Island in New York City. It's animatronic inhabitants act out the toil and labors of real world as tourists glide by on a sleek monorail.

Century Hollow is the brainchild of Jorge and Hanna Control, a husband and wife scientist team whose marital troubles spill out into the programming of the lifelike robots that inhabit their tiny world. When those robots go out of control and take a group of tourists hostage, it's up to the Manhattan Guardian and his new allies, the Newsboy Army, to save the day. But can Jake Jordan, the man behind the Guardian's mask, do his job and salvage his love life? Or will one have to be sacrificed for the other?
