NEW AVENGERS (2004) (#1-64) (MARVEL) #4 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: New Avengers (2004) #4
"Breakout Part Four" is written by Brian Michael Bendis and drawn by David Finch and Danny Miki. Guest-starring Wolverine. Captain America has convinced Iron Man it's time to put together a new team of Avengers built off the group of heroes who helped contain the prison break at the Raft. With 42 super-villains on the loose, including Electro who apparently started the jailbreak to free one particular prisoner, there's no time to waste. But S.H.I.E.L.D., under acting director Special Agent Hill, doesn't like the idea of a new Avengers forming. But Captain America invokes his Champion status, which allows the Star-Spangled Avenger to form a new team of Avengers whenever he feels it necessary.

With Spider-Man, Spider-Woman and Power Man on board, the new group of Avengers sets out to find Electro, and extract from who hired him and who he freed. At a streetside caf‚ in Boston, they find Electro in the middle of trying to convince his girlfriend to skip town with him. But the Earth's Mightiest Heroes catch the lightning-wielding crook and force him to reveal who it was he freed from the Raft: the power-draining super-villain known as Sauron. The trail next leads our heroes to the Savage Land, where Sauron hails from, and right into the claws of the Wolverine! Fan boys note: Jessica (Spider-Woman) Drew never looked so hot as she does under Finch's loving pen!
