MS. MARVEL (1977) (#1-23) (MARVEL) (CAROL DANVERS) #13 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Ms. Marvel (1977) #13
"Homecoming!" is written by Chris Claremont and drawn by Jim Mooney and Joe Sinnott. Carol Danvers, with the help of the interdimensional explorer Hecate, has come to an understanding of her dual identity as Carol and as Ms. Marvel, a warrior of the Kree. A trip home to Boston re-connects Carol with her past as her mother bakes a home-cooked meal. Meanwhile, Carol's father rescues a co-worker on the high steel and discovers the construction company has been cutting corners on safety.

Later, a romantic dinner party is interrupted by the sudden appearance of alien siblings, a golden one with a bionic sword-arm and an armored one with energy-draining powers. Their attack on a naval warship to steal power from its nuclear reactors draws the intervention of Ms. Marvel. But her Kree-borne strength and battle acumen are no match for their otherworldly abilities!
