"Homecoming" is written by Geoff Johns and drawn by Phil Jimenez, George Perez and Ivan Reis. Death of Pantha. Death of Stallion. Death of Baby Wildebeest. Death of Bushido. Death of Risk. Death of Citizens of Bludhaven. Last use of the Speed Force. Alexander Luthor's galaxy-spanning plot to remake the DC Universe bears deadly fruit as the Superboy of Earth-Prime and Superman of Earth 2 continue following his mad commands. Luthor explains to the captive Power Girl how the events of Day of Vengeance, Villains United, the Omac Project and the Rann/Thanagar War and tie in with his grand design.

Meanwhile, Superboy sets out to "talk" with the new Superboy, a clone of Superman raised by Ma Kent, but ends up in battle with him and the Teen Titans. Heroes die in the horrific struggle to rein in this out-of-control Boy of Steel. And the Brotherhood of Evil unleash Chemo over Bludhaven, reducing the corruption-infested city and all of its residents to chemical ash. Finally, Booster Gold confronts Jaime Reyes, the boy who would become the new Blue Beetle, about the origin of his powers and the Spectre gets a new host!
