IDENTITY CRISIS (2004) #5 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Identity Crisis (2004) #5
"Chapter Five - Father's Day" is written by Brad Meltzer and drawn by Rags Morales and Mike Bair. Cover by Michael Turner. Death of Firestorm. Death of Jack Drake. Death of Captain Boomerang. Tragedy strikes the young life of Robin as history repeats itself and another orphan is left alone with nothing but the mission to fight crime. Someone is killing the loved ones of the Justice League of America. It began with Sue Dibny, the wife of the Elongated Man. It continued with a threat on the life of Lois Lane and an attack on Jean Loring, the ex-wife of Ray (the Atom) Palmer. Now someone has mailed a gun to Jack Drake, the father of Robin, and set him up for a bloody confrontation with Captain Boomerang.

Meanwhile, our heroes have closed in on Merlyn's circle of ragtag criminals including Deadshot and the Monocle. Warp, Tarantula, Heat Wave and Mirror Master are also captured. But none of them know anything about the spate of attacks on those near and dear to the League. And in the course of trying to nab the Shadow Thief, Firestorm is destroyed. But if anything positive has come out of this crisis, Ray (the Atom) Palmer and Jean Loring have been reunited. And that's a good thing, right?
