IDENTITY CRISIS (2004) #4 FINAL PRNT - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Identity Crisis (2004) #4
"Chapter Four - Who Benefits?" is written by Brad Meltzer and drawn by Rags Morales and Mike Bair. Cover by Michael Turner. The series that humanizes the Justice League more than any other continues as our heroes desperately try to find out who is trying to kill their loved ones. The latest victim is Jean Loring, the ex-wife of Ray (the Atom) Palmer, who is swinging from a noose in her apartment when the Atom finds her. The microscopic super-hero is able to save her life but no trace can be found of her attacker. Not even the technology of New Genesis wielded by Mister Miracle can detect how the deed was done.

As the Justice League brings an incredible amount of heat down on the super-villain community in search of their attacker, the crooks start to get very nervous. A loose-knit group of super-foes including Merlyn, Chronos, Mirror Master, the Monocle, Deadshot and the Calculator find solace in each other's company while plotting some way to profit from the League's pain. But Captain Boomerang is only interested in looking up his long-lost son to see if there's any legacy he can pass along. Everyone draws nearer to their family and friends as the danger from the unnamed serial killer increases and that spurs the Batman to wonder "who benefits?" from this rampage against civilian targets.
