Plot Synopsis: Hulk (1962) #130
"If I Kill You .. I Die!" is written by Roy Thomas and drawn by Herb Trimpe. Dr. Bruce Banner has dreamt of the day when he could be separated from the seething green monster within him. To be apart from the Hulk and normal again has been his overwhelming desire ever since that fateful day of the gamma bomb test that unleashed the beast within him. Tired of the endless battle and strife and of waking up in strange cities or even other worlds where the Hulk's adventures have taken him, Banner calls out for release. And with a visit to his old alma mater, Desert State University, Banner finds he can finally have his wish.

Through the brilliance of Professor Raoul Stoddard, government-funded research into gamma radiation has wielded a means by which Banner can be drained of the energy that fuels the Hulk. At a secret underground lab, Banner enters the machine that promises to return his life to some semblance of normality. But instead, it pulls the Hulk from him and gives the monster a life of its own. Immediately, old Jade Jaws goes on the rampage with one thought in mind kill puny Banner! But if Banner dies, so does Hulk. Somehow, the tragic scientist must find a way to reincorporate the Hulk into himself, for the sake of humanity.
