GREYSHIRT: INDIGO SUNSET (2001) #6 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Greyshirt: Indigo Sunset (2001) #6
Tales of Indigo City's masked crimefighter, the mysterious Greyshirt! To kick off our tales of suspense, we find Greyshirt and his seductive co-fighter of crime, the Cobweb, enjoying a luxurious mud-bath together. As they begin to share stories of past glories, Greyshirt remembers the time he faced off against a would-be pirate and his all-girl crew in "Shroom!," written by Rick Veitch and drawn by Frank Cho (Liberty Meadows). Swinging as he was from the yardarm, it would seem Greyshirt was about to meet his end ... that is until the marauders came across an island of undead fungus-men still clinging to the pirating ways they pursued in life!

Then, in "The Last Mile!" (written by Veitch and drawn by Todd Klein), a gun moll on death row spins a tale of regret and redemption. She claims to have seen her ex-lover, Johnny Apollo alive long after he was reported dead. Since Johnny was the man who supposedly "killed" Franky Lafayette (Greyshirt's alter ego), our hero finds this story to be of great interest. Traveling to the abandoned mine where Johnny has reportedly holed up, Greyshirt finds the mobster has joined with an otherworldly creature known as the Lure. Shades of H.P. Lovecraft! Also, enjoy an eight-page special edition of the Indigo City Sunset!
