FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) (#1-416) (MARVEL) #67 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Fantastic Four #67
When Opens The Cocoon!
Story by Stan Lee art by Jack Kirby inks by Joe Sinnott.
First appearance of Adam Warlock. Before he soared through the stars in Strange Tales and later his own book, Warlock was known just as Him. He was the creation of a cadre of brilliant but power-hungry scientists known as the Citadel of Science. It was there that the blind sculptress Alicia Masters was taken in an attempt by the scientists to capture the likeness of their awesome creation, and thereby learn how to control or destroy him.

A hopping mad Thing, Mr. Fantastic and the Human Torch soon follow and turn the Citadel upside down trying to find the hapless girl. But what they all discover when the Cocoon opens is a being far beyond any of their comprehension. Soon, the being known as Him is drawn to the stars where greater vistas and adventures await. "When Opens the Cocoon!" is written by Stan Lee and drawn by Jack Kirby with inks by Joe Sinnott.
