DAREDEVIL (1964) (#1-380) (MAN WITHOUT FEAR) (MARVEL) #96 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Daredevil (1964) #96
Guest-starring the Black Widow. Cover by Gil Kane. Man-Bull has seemingly slain Daredevil and on a crowded San Francisco street in front of dozens of witnesses and a TV camera crew, DD's grief-stricken lover swears "The Widow Will Make You Pay!" (written by Gerry Conway with art by Gene Colan and Ernie Chua). Man-Bull is a genetically mutated brute weighing several hundred pounds and sporting a lethal set of horns. The Black Widow is a trained acrobat and spy with little more than her Widow's Sting and her own martial arts to fight with.

Still, the Widow manages to battle the hulking villain to a standstill and keep him away long enough to get the wounded Man Without Fear to a hospital. While DD undergoes surgery to remove the bullet lodged in his chest, the Man-Bull seeks out a chemist who has invented a formula that, once dropped in the City water supply, will transform everyone into a monster just like him. It's up to the Widow and a badly wounded DD to stop this mad scheme before SF is overrun by monstrosities!
