Guest-starring the Falcon and Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. "Terror in the Night!" is written by Gerry Conway with art by Sal Buscema and Frank Giacoia. Sharon Carter, the love of Cap's life, has been taken captive by the Scorpion and Mister Hyde. In separate parts of New York City, Cap and his partner the Falcon hunt relentlessly for the kidnappers, knowing full well that time may be running out for the lovely Agent 13.

Exhausted by the battle with villainous duo and by his search, Cap has not a moment to rest before he has to get back on the job as New York City police officer Steve Rogers. Meanwhile, the Falcon does his best detective work to date and tracks down specialty chemicals that were on their way to Mister Hyde. Regrouping, the Star-Spangled Avenger and the Falcon track the Scorpion and Mister Hyde down but when the fists start flying, Cap fights alone!
