BATMAN: RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE (GRANT MORRISON) (2010) #2 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne (2010) #2
"Part Two: Until the End of Time" is written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Frazer Irving. Morrison continues his adventures of the Darknight Detective as he makes his way back through the annals of time to the present day. After being blasted by Darkseid's Omega Beams in the Final Crisis, Bruce (Batman) Wayne has been time-skipping through different eras, never completely sure of who he is or where he fits in. In this issue, our hero finds himself in 17th century New England where religion and the law are intermingled to a dangerous degree.

Under the guise of a witch-finder named Mordecai from Boston, Wayne finds himself in the middle of a murder mystery in which a young goodwife names another woman a witch and claims she's summoned a dragon to kill the men of the village. A local hard-hearted zealot named Brother Malleus the Hammer believes that Annie, the woman who lives in the woods, is in fact in league with the Devil. But Batman (as Brother Mordecai) knows that superstition and small-mindedness often crush innocents beneath their heel in the pursuit of justice!
