BATMAN AND THE OUTSIDERS (1983) (#1-32) (DC) #7 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Batman and the Outsiders #7
Frozen alive by the Cryonic Man, Batman and his fledgling team don't seem to have a snowball's chance in Hell of surviving the cold to stop the madman's plans. With Katana in tow, the Cryonic Man returns to his secret headquarters and quickly sets about his gruesome business. He instructs his incredible surgical robots to dissect the swordwoman and use her organs to save his beloved wife who is in a cryogenic sleep.

But Katana proves too resourceful for the fiend. Freeing herself, she fends off the Cryonic Man with scalpels until his robots subdue her again. Futile as it was, Katana's brief escape attempt, gives Halo time to thaw herself and her teammates out. The problem of how to find Katana is swiftly solved when her blade, left behind in battle, begins to "talk" to Halo. Soon, the Outsiders are on the trail and battling their way past robots and the Cryonic Man to free their friend. That's when they learn the startling truth of the Cryonic Man's origin; a nightmare born of Cold War paranoia. "Cold Hands, Cold Heart!" is written by Mike Barr with art by Jim Aparo.
