BATMAN AND ROBIN (2009) (#1-26) #2 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Batman and Robin (2009) #2
Written by Grant Morrison and drawn by Frank Quitely. The grotesque Mister Toad has been imprisoned in Gotham City's jail for his role in some high profile bank robberies. But his old criminal gang, the Circus of the Strange has vowed to break him out. A fire-eater that's actually on fire, a trio of tumbling acrobat/martial artists and a fat "lady" with a bazooka storm the GCPD even as Batman and Robin are conferring with Commissioner Gordon on the rooftop.

As swift as the Dark Knight Detective's response is to the jailbreak, the Circus manages to wipe several cops before they are put down by the dynamic duo. And none of our heroes' efforts can stop the murder of Mister Toad in his prison cell. The mysterious domino killer seems to be claiming victim after victim without any fear of reprisal. And don't miss the emotional break-up of Batman and Robin as the new Boy Wonder takes off on his own!
