BATMAN (1940) (#0-713) (DC) #666 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Batman (1940) #666
A horrifying glimpse into the future as Damian, the son of Batman and Talia (Ra's al-Ghul's daughter) grows up to take up the mantle of the Bat and the protection of Gotham City. In this grim tomorrow, the city has grown into a festering wound of corruption, depravity and crime. And the new Commissioner Gordon (Barbara, confined to a wheelchair) has made it her life's mission to bring this new Batman to justice for the murder of the first Dark Knight Detective.

However, Batman has got his hands full dealing with a Satan-worshiping lunatic who has been knocking off his underworld rivals one by one. Phosphorus Rex, Candyman, Loveless, Professor Pyg: all have fallen to the savagery of the latest of three lunatics who have risen to try to take the identity of Batman. With cronies like the Weasel, Max Roboto, Flamingo and Jackanapes the villain hopes to bring on Armageddon. Can the new Batman stop him in time? "Bethlehem" is written by Grant Morrison with art by Andy Kubert.
