BATMAN (1940) (#0-713) (DC) #655 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Batman (1940) #665
"The Black Casebook" is written by Grant Morrison with art by Andy Kubert and Jesse Delperbang. Last issue, Batman rushed to the aid of some of Gotham City's prostitutes being exploited by corrupt police and being killed one by one by a massive maniac dressed in a Batman costume. Now, the Darknight Detective finds himself soundly defeated, face down in an ally, counting his blessings that he escaped alive and with his spine intact.

During the brief time he allows himself to recuperate, Bruce Wayne dreams of three villainous versions of himself along with his newly discovered son Damian. Convinced that the vision and his new foe tie in with his Black Casebook, Batman delves into the case-files he keeps for mysteries of a supernatural nature. Meanwhile, Robin decides to take on the murderous Bat-brute himself and if not for the timely intervention of Batman, he would ended up a smear on the streets!
