ASTONISHING X-MEN (2004) (#1-68) (MARVEL)(JOSS WHENDON) #11 - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Astonishing X-Men (2004) #11
Written by Joss Whedon with art by John Cassaday. "Danger" is the name the computerized creature that once was the "soul" of the Danger Room has taken for herself. Having defeated the X-Men, she steals the Blackbird and jets across the globe to Genosha; seeking out her creator Professor Charles Xavier. The alien Shi'ar technology Xavier incorporated into the X-Men's training center has taken on a life of its own and has adopted a single-minded purpose: to destroy her "father."

In combat both mental and physical, Danger clashes with Prof. X, whose ingenuity and will to live make him a highly difficult man to kill. Even crashing the Blackbird into the ground where the paralyzed professor once stood can't finish the job. By the time the X-Men recover from their defeat and get to Genosha, Xavier has battled the creature to a standstill. But with a mastery over all things mechanical, Danger has one more card to play: a massive Sentinel resurrected from Genosha's ashes. Meanwhile, is the love affair between Colossus and Shadowcat heating up once more?
