ANGEL: AFTER THE FALL (IDW) (2007) #14 A - Descriptive Bibliography

Plot Synopsis: Angel: After the Fall (2007) #14
Plotted by Joss Whedon and Brian Lynch. Written by Lynch and drawn by Stephen Mooney. A war is raging in the hell that is now Los Angeles between the forces of Wolfram & Hart and Angel's champions. Mounted on a winged horse he's dubbed Cordelia, the legendary Groosalugg does battle with dragons while wielding a flaming sword. Inside Gunn's vampire nest, Spike and Wesley try to figure out what to do with Angel's broken body now that the magicks that were keeping him alive have been stripped away.

Gunn, meanwhile, has taken Illyria's injured body and has begun a ritual that will strip away all that remains of Fred Burkle and return Illyria to her primordial form, that of a multi-tentacled giant berserker capable of destroying L.A. in her fury. Suffering from paroxysms of emotion and painful remnants of Fred's memories, Illyria has a horrifying new mission: to end all existence. Meanwhile, Angel is trying to work his way out of the karmic corner that Wolfram & Hart has painted him into and to not be the agent of mass destruction they've cast him as.
