Title: I Am Robot X

Synopsis: A fully functional robot with Artificial Intelligence is finally created, but a newspaperman raises the cry of its potential danger. Escaping a fearful mob, Robot X sets out to create more of his kind, so that their numbers will be too great to be menaced. An angry mob, unable to get into Robot X’s factory, chases the robot’s creator from his home. Meanwhile, Robot X, along with the robot army he’s created, marches through the city and capture the rabid newspaperman, exposing him as a member of a Martian fifth column, seeking to set up the subjugation of the earth. Knowing that humans are not ready to accept robots more intelligent than they, X than deactivates his entire army and himself as well. His creator muses that maybe, someday in the future, mankind may be ready for robots like X.

Title: What Lurks Within?

Featuring: Dr. Droom

Synopsis: An alien spacecraft lands in a Midwestern farmer’s field. Dr. Droom is called to investigate. He tells everyone to stay out of sight, and orders a large derrick with a wrecking ball be brought to the site of the landing. Dr. Droom mans the derrick and slams the wrecking ball repeatedly into the side of the ship which, being built for interstellar travel, receives no physical damage. Dr. Droom then sends a telepathic message to the aliens saying that earthmen are peaceful, and asks the aliens to exit the ship so that they may be greeted in friendship. The aliens, who are not peaceful, blast away from earth – for, you see, Dr. Droom told them that he was the derrick knocking at their door.
