Plot Synopsis: Thor (1962) #267
"Once More, to Midgard!" is written by Len Wein and drawn by Walt Simonson and Tony DeZuniga. First appearance of Damocles. The Odinquest has ended and the long, hard task or rebuilding Asgard, the Realm Eternal, has begun. Part of that effort of renewal is a painful task left over from the past. Odin must judge his adopted son, Loki, for his latest crimes against the throne. As punishment, the King of Asgardian gods sends Loki to Midgard (Earth) stripped of his power. The trial completed, Thor says goodbye to his lady-love Sif and his friends, the Warriors Three, and heads to Earth himself.

Hoping to start up the medical practice of Dr. Don Blake once more, Thor finds that Blake's old office has been torn down and turned into a housing complex. Dr. Blake is out on the job trail just one day, however, before he gets an offer to do some charity medical work downtown. While he's contemplating the offer, Dr. Blake encounters Damocles, a high-tech extortionist bent on bleeding New York City's coffers dry. Can Thor stop this terrorist madman before his bombs destroy the famous United Nations building?
